Volunteer Opportunity: Help Make the Elkhart Labor Day Parade a Success!
Every year, the Labor Day Parade brings joy, tradition, and celebration to the streets of Elkhart. This year, community member September Lesure has generously stepped up to organize this much-loved event. Her dedication, hard work, and love for our city make this parade possible—and now she needs your help to bring it all together!
We’re looking for a handful of volunteers to support September and ensure the parade runs smoothly:

2 Volunteers for Set-Up & Tear-Down
Assist with placing numbered blocks along the parade path to help floats line up correctly. -
2 Volunteers for Float Check-In
Welcome parade participants at the arrival location and direct them to their lineup spots. A fun, social, and important role! -
5 Volunteers Along the Parade Route
Spread out along the route to help keep things flowing smoothly and safely from start to finish.
