Help bring new life to one of Elkhart's beautiful parks! Join the City of Elkhart Parks Root Crew and the Elkhart Environmental Center for a hands-on volunteer project focused on restoring the newly renovated park pond and surrounding landscape.
Volunteers will help roll out coir mats, plant native plugs and bulbs, remove debris, and create a healthy habitat for local wildlife. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just looking for a fun way to give back, there's a job for everyone—no experience required!
Have a pair of muck boots? Bring them along! We'll have a few opportunities for volunteers to work in the wetter areas around the pond. All tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided. Grab a friend, get your hands a little dirty, and make a lasting impact on your community!
